Power markets module
Successful deregulated energy markets require a well thought out, designed and implemented market design – ranging from pure commodity markets to ancillary services and other markets. Competition presents market actors with new opportunities for growth and profit. Market concentration and market power abuse may hinder such opportunities and thus need to be monitored.

The “Power Markets” module will combine an academic perspective with practical experiences. An academic view of market fundamentals, price formation and market power issues will be followed by practical experiences presented by traders, brokers and market operators.
