Challenges and opportunities in the retail energy arena continue to grow with “choice” as an overriding theme. Customers can quickly change focus from a solely commodity orientation to “total energy management” – asking for advice regarding efficient use of energy, possibility of internet services, or product development.
The “Retail” module will comprise a mix of technical and marketing themes. The topics covered include retail market basics, price setting (and product definition) from the point of view of retailers, risk management and smart metering. A practical view on how to adapt to a changing retail market and how to approach and manage customers will also be presented.
