EE conference
Energy Efficiency is one of the key factors to mitigate climate change as well as to decrease energy demand and dependency of energy supply. EE measures will partly lead to more energy security and will improve environmental protection. Furthermore, an increase of public awareness on energy saving potentials will be crucial to decrease energy consumption and set incentives to implement cost-effective energy saving measures.

The Energy Efficiency conference will present expert knowledge and practical guidance on EE measures on regional, national and EU levels, present successfully implemented projects and provide participants with tools to push for EE actions in the South East European region.

Session overview of the 1-day programme:

SESSION 1: Implications of EU EE Policies in the Energy Community
SESSION 2: Alternative Measures for Energy Savings
SESSION 3: Social Aspects of Energy Savings
SESSION 4: Potential in Energy Production and Distribution
SESSION 5: Cases of Good Practice
PANEL SESSION: Why are we wasting the Energy Efficiency Potential

The workshop will be organised in co-operation with non-governmental organisation AGREE.NET.
