Transmission module
19. November, 2007
/ Jable castle
With the onset of open access transmission, transmission system operators (TSOs) find themselves at the helms of increasingly unpredictable and complex interconnected power grids. Continued reliability of electricity supply depends on skilled operators who share a common level of experience.
The “Transmission” module will describe the general role of the TSO in the liberalized system as well as some specific subjects, ranging from asset management and efficiency improvement possibilities to reliability and system security issues. Cross border trade issues – a very important topic in view of market integration – will conclude this module.
