Regulation module
Sessions will cover: Regulation of Monopolies and Competitive Sectors, Pricing and Reliability, Effective Energy Regulation Barriers and Techniques of Regulation, Overview of markets in the Energy Community and Regulatory Issues and Experience in Transition Economies.
Over 40 participants from Contracting and Observer parties to the Energy Community Treaty will attend. Sir John Mogg, Director of the European Regulators' group for electricity and gas will open the module on 12 November. Later that day Sir John will aslo meet Andrej Vizjak, Minister of Economy and Dr. Igor Šalamun, Director General, Energy Directorate to discuss the 3rd energy package and the role of regulatory Agencies.
