Cecilia Hellner
Secretary General of ETSO
Cecilia Hellner is Secretary General of ETSO, the European Association of Electricity Transmission System Operators since June 2007.
Mrs. Hellner, an economist, has been engaged in the electricity sector since the beginning of her career. In the early nineties, she was part of the Energy Policy Unit within the Swedish Ministry of Industry, and in particular engaged in the project for the liberalization of the Swedish electricity market. After working for the Swedish Permanent Delegation to the OECD in Paris, she joined Svenska Kraftnät in 1999. Since 2000 she had been Head of the Commercial Division. Mrs. Hellner has been a member of the Nordel Market Committee, the Board of Nord Pool Spot power exchange and a member ETSO Steering Committee since 2001.
