Borzen, Power Market Operator
Andraž Šavli is Head of Market Operations at Borzen, the Slovenian Power Market Operator and Power Exchange. He is responsible for market operations which comprise balance scheme administration, imbalance settlement, notification of bilateral contracts and scheduling. In the past four years he has gained experience in the field of market operations and balancing market, and has taken an active part in the installation and functioning of imbalance settlement and in the development of congestion management solutions.
He has published papers on implicit allocation of cross-border capacities. He has been an active member of groups within Eurelectric and EuroPEX.
