Mr Kessler is a Principal Consultant in Ventyx/Global Energy Decision’s European Office. He has experience with both the Southern Company and Siemens Power Generation in the areas of utility deregulation and market forecasting. Since 2004, Mr. Kessler has concentrated on these issues in the European Market including a focus on the interaction between power and carbon market price fundamentals. More recently, his group supported the EU - DG Comp in studying power price formation and structural issues in these same markets.

Mr. Kessler holds a Masters in Business Administration with concentrations in both Finance and Risk Management. Additionally, he holds a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
